Dear Colleagues,
Sent an earlier note on the highly successful
information literacy workshop hosted by the
TLT Group.
This issue involves many of us. Even if you
don't want to take the workshop, a visit to this
web site and a chance to learn more about the
issues will be useful to anyone who is concerned
about helping design students conduct research
and -- as well -- is is central to the challenge of
helping students link information literacy to
learning.
As noted earlier, the TLT bulletins are free.
Best regards,
Ken Friedman

ACRL & TLT Group are proud to announce continuation of Info Lit
online workshop series. NOTE: While the term "Information
Literacy" may not work well for every college and
university, the underlying ideas are essential - everywhere.
Librarians have initiated this movement, but its success also
depends on the commitment and involvement of individual faculty
members and many other academic leaders. The next info lit
online workshop addresses both the need for this kind of
collaboration and how to achieve it. Please join us!
ALSO, PLEASE SEND STORIES, EXAMPLES OF EFFECTIVE INFO LIT
COLLABORATIONS - OR OBSTACLES TO THEM. We have a great
group of librarians and non-librarians ready to work on
these challenges and share success stories!
