I don't mean to pick on the use of language in this rather semi-formal
discussion.
but i would like to say that i find the justaposition of 'traditional skills'
and 'intellecutal skills' quite wanting.
some of the traditional skills that i have acquired in design education and
design practice are quite intellectual. and i think it is these intellectual
components that design researchers are trying to understand and articulate
with greater details and diversity.
best. rosan
