Been at my office all day doing other things. Lack time right now to
catch up with heated list debate on Philosophy of Design. Extended my
lunch break to write the post below, but couldn't send it from the
office (id, according to jiscmail server). Post follows here (hoping
it's not too much out of step with current state of debate).

Dear List,
This morning, I was about to post my small bibliography on the
Philosophy of
Design (stemming from my October 2000 Call for Papers for Design
Studies),
as suggested by Ken earlier. However, Ken pulled the trigger before I
could
draw: the bibliography is included as note 3 in his "short post and four
long
footnotes", Dec. 4, 2003. I think this must be a case of "friendly fire"
if ever
there was one. Thanks, Ken :-)
I was also planning to augment the bibliography with a few items of more
recent date. Again, Ken has already included most of these in his other
"long
footnotes". But let me add the rest here.
Kind regards,
Per

Disclaimer:
1. Some of the material below I haven't read, so I cannot guarantee that
it
strictly fits the working definition of PoD that I suggested earlier
(i.e., "the
pursuit of insights about design by philosophical" -- hence
non-empirical --
"means"). But I'm confident that it has some significant bearing on the subject.
