Dear Colleagues,
Many good posts, reflections, and responses. In a
large, multi-thread conversation, it is sometimes
difficult to keep track of who is speaking and whom
they are answering.
Explicit "quotation marks" and --snip-- marks help.
We are working across many kinds of platforms and
email programs.
When you use the reply function or the forward function,
it is sometimes impossible for readers to tell whose words
they are reading.
Please use explicit quotation marks or --snip-- marks to
distinguish other people's words from your own.
Interpolated quoted material is visible to some readers,
but invisible to others.
Explicit quotation marks or --snip-- marks makes the
speakers clear.
Thanks,
Ken Friedman
