Following on with what David said: It is a good point that when discussing,
reviewing, critiquing, refering to any design it might be best if in fact an
image (a good one) was included with the text, as well as clarification as to
the souce of the object, system, etc. To assume the knowledge of the reader
includes a clear visual memory of the (whatever) or to talk about something
which has a visual, textural, auditory, etc. aspect without the participation
of the reader in that direct interaction seems to lend itself to a gossipy kind
of knowledge, second and third hand.
On another note, bad rap or not I though Canberra was a most interesting city.
