How does one judge the succes of their design.
Many times we look at the work over time. When we are developing the work, the project might be built as a model and tested, maybe if it survives it will go to the next stage. Our projects can range from and automobile to a house, maybe a bridge. If we the bridge is built and waves in the breeze and falls apart, the bridge may considered to be a failure.
When a student is learning to be a designer, it might seem like a daunting task, but through developed programs, and teachers the student learns to go and continue the task of designing. The best you can do as an educator is to be able to educate these students so that they can be 100% percent successful. Why should we try to be any less successful than any project we might want to work. We might not be 100% percent successful, but at least we tried.
