How could I disagree?
But we have to recognise that the semantics of the use of artifacts depends in great part on the qualities found it their forms. We may
have raised our aspirations as designers but the raw material and thinking/shaping tools to realise those aspirations remain the same. I
have been guilty of bamboozling students with theoretical notions and seducing them away from the craft of creating new things and have had
cause to regret it. We have to retain the connection between ideas and the realisation of things.
