I am glad you are following this line of inquiry. I know of no specific
study of design that employes a symbolic interactionalist framework.
However, I employ some of the primary texts in my graduate seminar in
interaction design. Also, there are clear influences of symbolic
interactionalism in the work of a small number of professionals in the
States.
