Although if the above spelling is correct it is probable that the coin
in question is a copy of one of Wilkinson's designs, this was fairly
common, e.g. there are some Parys Mine tokens which vary from the
official issue which were to all intents and purposes forgeries,
bearing slight alterations to the original.
