Abandoned Mine Records (AMRs) were kept at the Health & Safety Executive Headquarters, in Liverpool I think. About 10 years ago, all were transferred to the relevant County Record Offices. These need checking though, as some mines in different counties were owned by the same company and for example, Devon Record Office has Cornish mine plans, and vice-versa with the Cornwall Record Office. They should have a list which can be copied, of all the named plans (Devon has), although this does not take account of other mines included with a named plan.
