What experience have other people had of their users being asked to write
for the Cochrane Library?
One of our users has just forewarned us that she has been asked to write a
systematic review and will be wanting us to obtain articles for her, she
said she will require about 400.
This could mean a lot of work for us and potentially some considerable cost
if we have to go to the BL or elsewhere as we subsidise our users quite
heavily on the cost of inter library loans, it could also skew us towards
being more of a net requestor.
Apparently she may be able to get some funding from the Cochrane
Collaboration but at present I have no idea of how to cost the whole
exercise. Any input welcome.
Many thanks.
