Christmas wasn't exactly the season of comfort and joy down here at BMA
Towers, with the internal network spine going literally into meltdown when
we repoened last Monday. Smoke, burning plastic smells, no reassuring
flashing lights afterwards. As a result, the web site has been down and
we've not been able to access any of our online resources, including
incoming photocopy requests.
So it's been proper coffee breaks and catching up with stuff that has
needed doing for ages but has never before quite made it to the top of the
list. And it hasn't been offering you lot any sort of a service, for which
we tender our apologies.
Our highly trained expert network staff (or at least those of them silly
enough to answer their phones and be recalled from leave) have been working
day and night for the last couple of hours to put things right. As soon as
they manage it we will be back to the grindstone and working flat out to
catch up with the backlog.
In the meantime, if you have any urgent photocopy requests, please phone
them in to 020 7383 6625 and we will do them at the cheap web request rate.
We are very sorry for any inconvenience caused and are snarling and
spitting in best Lord of the Rings style at those reponsible for getting
things back up in order to motivate them properly.
