I have spoken with CILIP and we hope to work togther and with pilot
libraries to see that libraries get a fair deal. Ever hopeful. We will keep
lis-medical and LKDN informed as things get underway. The CILIP salary
guide will be redrafted to reflect this.

Dear Carol,
I'm afraid I don't know the answer to this question - but am very keen
to find out. My understanding is that there aren't enough librarians in
the NHS for a national scale to be agreed, therefore jobs will be graded
locally. Could you let me know if you receive any information about
this?
Best wishes,
Vicky Wiseman

Has anyone managed to work out which pay band Library service managers
and
library assistants will fall into, when the new Agenda for Change pay
system comes into play in the NHS?
