Content Group. The databases available from April will be Medline,
Psycinfo, Cinahl, Embase, British Nursing Index, AMED and DH-Data (which
makes up 80% of the HMIC dataset) and will be linked to 800 aggregated
full text journals. Provided by Dialog and Proquest the resources will be
made available to all NHS staff using Athens authentication.

prototyping a new resource management system for NeLH which will allow
NeLH to migrate resources to a common information environment. As well as
allowing Specialist Libraries to share content and incorporate central
resources, the RMS will be able NeLH to provide enhanced metadata
searching and present its content to other partners through "web services"
protocols.
Planned
Collaboration with Public Health Observatories NeLH has been discussing
interoperability with Eastern Region PHO to agree a Memorandum of Intent
which will ensure that the two services will be able to share information

Procuring the Library
Final elements of procurement – the components of the NeLH Health
Information Environment, the technical infrastructure of the library, are
in the process of being decided upon following the recent OJEC notice.
Negotiation to agree contract terms with the shortlisted suppliers will
quickly be undertaken.
NeLH FBC – the full business case is presently being completed with actual
figures replacing estimated ones. The FBC is to be submitted for approval
in March.
Contingency arrangements – are largely now in place to ensure a continued
NeLH service migrating in an orderly fashion to any new suppliers and new
contracts.
