Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Sustainable Development
Applied Sciences, Environmental Management - Ref. APS02/05
The Division is seeking to appoint a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in
Sustainable Development. The appointment, which is available from September
2003 or as soon as possible thereafter, will provide teaching in sustainable
development and related topics on undergraduate programmes and on the MSc in
Disaster Management and Sustainable Development. Candidates working in the
field of developing country or first world sustainable development or
disaster management would be welcomed. Suitable candidates will hold or will
be near to completion of a PhD or have substantial experience of applied
work in a relevant area. There will be opportunities for the successful
candidate to contribute to the work of the newly designated Centre for
Disaster and Development.

Salary: Grade Lecturer/Senior Lecturer £22,191 - £34,191
