I get the FILM-PHILOSOPHY Digest sent to my Inbox at least once a day,
often more times
than that. It continues to be plagued by all kinds of technical
problems, only some of which (I
gather) are caused by correspondents not using plain-text. For example,
whole messages get
repeated in some kind of code directly underneath the first,
more-normal-looking message. I
sometimes become so impatient that I just delete the whole send. But it
occurs to me (not a
technician) that if spam can be filtered from websites these days, then
perhaps some
comparable program could be instituted by FILM-PHILOSOPHY Digest to
filter out at least
some of the annoyances I've referred to (e.g., messages repeating
themselves). Am I talking
nonsense? Is there anyone there who could look into this?
Good cheer - Ken Mogg (Ed., 'The MacGuffin').
