These are just guesses as I'm not sure I understand your question.
What is a SEQUEL? Something that has two parts planned from the
beginning. I don't think LEGALLY BLONDE was planned to have LEGALLY
BLONDE 2 but it happened and sort of follows the story as a sequel.
Chaplin's TRAMP is a recurring character that is not a sequel; same for
Keaton, Lloyd, etc.
I don't know if the BATMAN movies are sequels or different episodes
dealing with different opponents, but perhaps they have overlapping
characters.
The HUSTLER and the COLOR of MONEY both have PAUL NEWMAN as FAST EDDIE
but I don't know if it is a sequel.
I think some of the characters in BEETLEJUICE were from another movie
but I can't remember.
I don't know if the TATI movies qualify for your interests.
What about the MR. Bean movies?
Frank Sinatra as Tony Roma, Telly Savalas might have had some Kojak
movies, and the gal who played VJ Wachosky.
