Nelson:
I think Total Recall fits the bill, focusing as it does on personal identity and the social milieu within which it is defined, but your other two choices aren't apposite to Kate's inquiry. Planet of the Apes does have a wonderful role reversal at the end, but it seems to be more about anthropocentrism than ideology. Blade Runner focuses almost exclusively on the question of what it is to be human, a question that seems to me to be prior to ideology (though I could be convinced otherwise).
