Thanks, Robert, for that background information about these terms. I hadn't
realized, or thought too much, about their origins. Critical language is
another aspect of the whole film-literary field that I find myself drawn to
which deserves the most scrupulous investigation. I welcome any insights into
this topic.
As for the 'Creative Director', hasn't he kinda borne out the portrait of
fishpond pomposity that I describe?
