For starters, you might find what you are looking for in:
Ryan's _Narrative as Virtual Reality_
_The Video Game Theory Reader_ eds. Wolf and Perron
_The Medium of the Video Game_ ed Wolf
If you are interested in contemporary film theory, you might find
something of interest in
_Sceenplay_ eds. King and Krzywinska
There is also an online journal gamstudies.org that has some decent
stuff.
Beware, almost everything that I've seen written on whether video games
can have narratives is poorly argued, at least from the "ludological"
side.
The ludology.org site has some useful links.
Henry Jenkins has some good articles available on his web site.
If you had a more specific topic, I could be of more help. . .
Cheers,
