While I am glad that people are reading what I've been writing, I find it
extremely disconcerting that people are (1) very selectively reading what I
have written; and (2) have repeatedly reverted to ad hominem attacks (versions
of david's 'far from enlightened,' which I suppose, prefaced as they are
by 'dear' I should take in stride). I've largely addressed consumerist
motivations, which interest me foremost in discussing 'horror,' but which no
one has touched on; rather, people are policing 'horror' boundries in order not
to add to the discussion but merely to dismiss out of hand (ie with no
arguments) points I have made sincerely.
Thank you all. I will unsub.
