Certainly is, dave. Have you sent it to any other lists?
I certainly read it on brit-po, +after+ I'd read it before, and only the
second time did it click that it was by you. I suppose it's barely possible
I managed to read it on BRIT-PO without realising it was by you, but I find
it difficult to think I'm +that+ senile (yet).

Actually, put that way, the beginning makes more sense -- not that it's not
there already, now I look, just that I didn't get this entirely before.
Neat.

This is of course a typical Bindlestiffian misconstruction. The Rodent
Mausoleum in my garage contains only four occupants, none of whom died a
violent death. Your vile slur is peculiarly ill-timed as the latest
occupant, the only non-mouse (sic!), the Hamster Formerly Known as Nat, was
[finally, thank god, as there was a distinctly odd smell beginning to
pervade the sitting rome after his prolonged lying-in-state] was Formally
Interred only three hours ago.
Futhermore, they are treated with dignity -- each Rodent [in sequence of
expiration: Mousie (female mouse), Simeon (male mouse), [Linford] Christie
(female mouse), and Nat (male hamster)] has its individual sarcophagus (a
plastic box which once held Andrex toilet tissues) and they rest together
within the walls of a large square plastic washing-up bowl.
(off in a snit)
