RECORDS MANAGER
Information Systems and Library Services
Salary 28,243-31,313 pounds per annum (incl LWA)
We are seeking a professionally qualified records manager for a newly established
permanent post based in Archive Services at the University of Westminster.
The successful candidate will be expected to introduce a comprehensive records
management programme into the University, and to help prepare it for compliance
with the Freedom of Information Act 2000. This will involve developing policies and
procedures, as well as offering advice and training to staff across the University.
Strong influencing and negotiating skills will be needed, as well as a sound
understanding of the impact of new legislation upon records management practice.
You will need a professional qualification plus a minimum of two years experience in
records management, or a proven track record in managing the records of a large
organisation.
