Dear All,
I agree with Robert Forrest. We have been running a computer assisted community based dosing and monitoring service for patients prescribed warfarin and / or disease modifying anti-rheumatic drugs (DMARDs) for some time now - essentially a chronic disease monitoring service. Both groups of patients are given books which detail their drug and dosage and which also contain their laboratory results. The protocols were agreed by local clinicians and their have been no problems with regard to patients having their own results.
Best wishes
Mike
