Subject: Fire certificate
At accreditation a query was raised by the inspectors
about a fire certificate for the building - we didn't
have one. On investigation I was told by the Trust
Fire Officer that we don't need one as we are "a
research establishment"!! We are a routine lab in a
DGH.
I would be very interested to hear from anyone else as
to whether they have a fire certificate or are
considered exempt.
Thanks, Jan
