Dear colleagues,
We get (luckily not often) creatinine clearance requests based on very
low 24 h urine output volumes (e.g. 120 ml/24h). I suggested to refuse
these requests but team members ask for evidence to do so.
Would any of you suggest a lower limit of 24 h urinary output below
which the creatinine clearance becomes a meaningless waste of time (and
money)? Of course, some reference would nicely backup my suggestion if
it proves right.
