Vitamin C is easy to measure and we did so for a number of years. However
vitamin C is extremely unstable and we were often unable to process and
assay samples quickly enough to ensure that we were getting valid results.
We were doing so many recollections that we eventually stopped offering the
test. I am not aware of a method of stabilizing vitamin C in collected
samples to allow them to be referred to another laboratory.
