The CLAW regulations set the action limit for blood lead for a female
of reproductive capacity at 25 ug/dl and the suspension limit at 30
ug/dl. Therefore this worker should be removed from sources of
lead exposure regardless of being symptomatic or not. Working
practices within the factory need to be considered as does other
possible forms of toxic substance exposure.
