I am delighted to be able to announce to you that the PPP Foundation
has awarded the College a £1.3m grant to establish three five-year
senior clinician scientist fellowships in pathology. The aims of the
fellowship scheme are to develop a cadre of pathologists who are able
to lead research groups, act as beacons of excellence, and become the
next generation of clinical academic leaders.
Applications are now invited for these 3 senior clinician
scientist fellowships. These posts are offered to EU
nationals (including UK citizens) who intend to pursue an
academic career in pathology in the UK. The closing date
for receipt of applications is Friday 13th June 2003.
