Dear all,
We have a patient(male at age 48) loosing weight, with
loss of appetite, tiredness, feeling cold, lack of
sleep.
His FT4 is 60 and TSH 0.01, at two different
occasions, his cortisol at 09:00 Am was 250 with
normal blood pressure, normal U/E's, normal liver and
lipids, normal blood glucose, normal CBC, HGB around
13 g/L.
His medical problem (Dermatology) is skin
discolouration(I'm not sure what exactly is), and he
was on treatment of some sort of UV light and skin
cream.
Non of his symptom match thyrotoxicosis, his doctor
was about to start the treatment, but he changed his
mind because the picture is not clear.
Any ideas or suggestions will be appreciated.
Many thanks
Mohmed
