Hi Pauline,
Nice to meet you again last week.
Funnily enough, fired with enthusiasm, I looked at the ACB document exchange
which had some useful files on NPT. I don't think a list of devices could
ever be exhaustive, one document gets round it by including everything which
performs a laboratory test (and thast includes test strips). I thought the
Leeds NPT guidelines were good (not too long and to the point) and the JWP
guidelines will probably form the basis of ours.
Regards,
Martin.

Subject: poct terms of reference
I am trying to put our POCT Policy and Application documents through our
Medical Devices Committee, then to Risk Management. I have now been asked to
append a list of devices which this would cover (I have informed the members
that this would continually need updating), and also a terms of reference
for the POCT group. Rather than re-invent the wheel, I wondered if anyone
had such documents or ideas that they might like to share? Many Thanks,
Pauline Angel,
