We have lactate on our IL Gem Premier in ITU and find
it correlates very well and has excellent EQA, and is
totally trouble free. If nursing staff are doing the
maintenance themselves on your analyser, it must be
emphasised to them that it is vital to follow the
schedule exactly, as the lactate electrode is easily
poisoned and deteriorates quickly if schedules are
allowed to slip.
