In Leeds Infirmary there are several urine "multistix"
readers in use. Remember this type of stick testing
is, and has been used for more years than I can
remember, AND MOST OFTEN INCORRECTLY. The introduction
of the meters to read the strips was a good
opportunity to review and update nurse practice and
also much easier to assess quality.
