Slow Dance" Hoax
Description
This is a chain email that has been circulating in the Web since the year 1998. It plays with people's emotions by telling a story of a young girl who has a cancer. It further claims that the, "Slow Dance" poem, which is included in the message body, was written by the said sick girl. It encourages recipients of this mail to forward it other users, as the American Cancer Society would apparently donate money for every name that this email has been forwarded to. However, the American Cancer Society denies this, stating that, "it does not condone Internet chain letters, and that it does not pay out money for forwarded e-mails."
This is a hoax. Trend Micro recommends recipients of this email hoax to delete it and not to forward it to other users.
