Exactly, and it will be nurses making the requests...
+ cross-organisational disease management systems which match the
patient journey eg thyroid and diabetes "registers"
... and the role of the LIMS will get smaller as it is squeezed between
the clinical systems which support requesting and reporting and the
analysers which get smarter and smarter...
