It is very noticeable that all Elecsys users have a high bias for female samples on the UKNEQAS steroid hormone scheme. As an Elecsys user, I'm rather worried about this, as it seems to me to be a clinically-significant bias. What do other Elecsys users do about this in terms of reference ranges, comments on reports etc? Does anyone know what the interference is due to?
