I would like to hear from individuals who provide "patient preparation"
instructions that are "diabetic specific" for lipid testing (that includes
triglycerides and calculated LDL cholesterol) or who use an alternate
approach to lipid testing in diabetics. I am particularly interested in the
length of the fast, any instruction re: HS snack and antidiabetic
medications. If you use alternative tests, which ones?
