Subject: Access to IVD Directive
Dr Williams,
Following your message on the ACB mailbase, you may want to try the new
Commission website for medical devices that can be found at:
http://europa.eu.int/comm/enterprise/medical_devices/
It should also give access to a number of other guidance documents
(MEDDEVS), a list of harmonised standards and the Common Technical
Specifications as well as links through to Notified Bodies.
The Medical Devices Regulations can be accessed via
http://www.legislation.hmso.gov.uk/si/si2002/20020618.htm
I don't have access to the mailbase (I'm picking up messages for a
colleague), but please feel free to pass this message on.
Kind regards
Stephen Lee
