>Subject: Low B12's on Bayer Immuno 1.

>Dear colleagues,
Our haematology department is currently expressing some concerns regarding
some of our B12 results that we produced on a Bayer Immuno 1. We are
occasionally finding some low B12 levels <170 ng/L, that have a completely
normal blood picture. I read a report that stated that the features of
anaemia may not be present in some cases of B12 deficiency, and am also
aware of the many conditions that may cause low B12 levels in the absence of
deficiency. I was simply wondering if anybody else has experienced this
problem? Many thanks.
