At our hospital, we are currently setting up an laboratory unit to handle highly infectious samples. (i.e. from patients with haemorrhagic fewer)
Thus, I would very much appreciate any information regarding selection of instruments and procedures which have been found to represent the lowest possible risk for the personnel handling the samples. Specifically, we have not been able to find an instrument to handle the coagulation tests, which I believe are pretty critical in monitoring these patients.
