Dear colleagues,
Could I enquire about other labs who have tried to drop ACE from their
repertoire? We find the EQAS from Biorad to be unsatisfactory in that
all samples are in the low normal range. The interlab C.V is usually
about 25% on EQAS. We find that the AUDIT kit for ACE has high C.Vs on
our 2 internal Q.C.s. When we do batch repeats the results are
disappointing. There is huge wastage on the reagent.
We assay 7 samples per week. As an accredited lab we are unhappy.
Has any lab successfully dropped the assay? Many thanks.
