The local dermatologist has a 6y male with Cutaneous Mastocytosis. The skin is packed with mast cells which when rubbed have a wheal and flare due to histamine release.
Please advise whether plasma and urine histamine and/or metabolites could be measured to monitor treatment and who is able to offer the assays.
