No problems on my part about my being named, Alison, (notice the correct
punctuation there, folks) and likewise I do hope Michael reconsiders his
decision to quit. I'm very grateful to all those who gave me supportive
messages and am also very aware of just how much an emotional or
psychological involvement an art like poetry invokes, particularly in times
like these. My own prayer is that in a world at war at least we poets we all
be able to make peace with each other ( although I heartily approve of
wrangling about details of poems! does that bit work or does it not? etc)
As for the jetlag, my immense sympathies, I'm convinced that I'm still
suffering from it 5 and a bit months on. At least that's my story and I'm
sticking to it!
My thanks to Kent, Arni, Roger and many others and
My Love to All
Best

Thanks for that, Kent. Your urging will certainly be taken into
consideration.
I'd also like to apologise for naming you and David in my reply to
Michael: it was uncalled for. I stand by my other comments, though
I am sorry to see Michael leave. On this question, I might say that
poetryetc has always been an international list, and so perhaps it
reflects more generally international opinion than solely American
lists might.
I also reiterate my earlier reminder that all topics of discussion
are welcome here. I am bereft of original, suffering (still) the
worst jetlag of my life: but perhaps some of you presently lurking
might have some ideas!
Best
Alison
