Hi David,
I personally don't mind a little bit of pepper in the stir as long as the
overall climate is civilized. And I can understand that from time to time,
someone, including me, might go overboard.
Although I presume that the story is over, I have to make a small
clarification.
You can be sure you are not having a conversation just with yourself
because in my estimation most of the people on the list think like you.
However, this doesn't mean that your are going the right way. If we start
making science by voting, you can imagine what will happen -- we will
operate like a court of justice in a jury system. My problem is that very
often juries are filled with janitors and gas station clerks.
I need to mention here that I almost entirely disagree with your posts and
stance regarding creativity. I personally confronted some ideas of yours
and later simply backed off. However, please do not interpret this as
silent support. I simply don't have enough time to engage every time I feel
like it. And often I do that on purpose to let others go in.
Regards,
Lubomir
