Dear collegues,
Here is the announcement regarding a seminar on National Design Policies in
Europe, held in Paris on January 9.
This seminar will allow you to know more about the implications, actors,
breadth of design policies organized at a national or regional level.
In the last five years ,large scale design promotion actions have been
implemented at a national level in various European countries
(Ireland,Norway,Finland etc.)
The presentations will higlight some interesting points :
> Why design appears as a major actor for economical and social development
?
> What are the challenges of a national design policy ?
> What are the critical factors for its implementation ?
> How does such a policy impact on design promotion ?
> What are the opportunities for European cooperation offered by these
policies?
The seminar is aimed primarily at design promotion bodies,professionnal
bodies and administrations concerned with design,but all people interested
in innovation and economical development policies are welcome.
This seminar will also offer you the opportunity to build partnerships.We
will offer a short slot of time where you might be able to present to the
audience a project that you would like to develop with other partners.
Language will be English and French (simultaneous translation). Registration
fees : 70 euros (including lunch).
