Lectureship in Physical or Theoretical Chemistry
£22 191 - £25 451 p.a. - Fixed-term 1 year
We wish to appoint a fixed-term Lecturer for 1 year from 1st September 2003
or as soon as possible thereafter. The Lecturer will undertake research and
teaching in this highly rated Department (graded 5*A in the last RAE). The
Department is very well equipped for experimental chemistry and has
excellent computer facilities to support theoretical work. The Lecturer
will engage in research, either independently or in collaboration with
existing groups, in any area of experimental or theoretical physical
chemistry or chemical physics. Teaching duties will be assigned within the
Physical Chemistry and Chemical Physics Section and will include lectures,
undergraduate laboratory supervision and tutorials to undergraduates on our
3 and 4-year chemistry and natural science degrees. Applications should
