Saturday, 22 March 2003 In der FSU -Universität Jena, Seminarräume 221- 223,
C-Zeiß-Str. 3,
The next day we will refer to the International Day against racism: the
small conference is the try to jump out of the hamster's runner of only
reacting on increasing numbers of racist police harrassment and to work out
strategies and proper ways of acting for a campaign against racist police
practices inside a racist system of refugee-deterrence.
The first part of the meeting is to realize the functioning of a racist
control regime inside the country and the EU (and not only here). There will
be information on the system of racist exclusion on basis of the law and the
aimed politically enforced execution of it against the needs, the human
rights and liberties of refugees, migrants, asylumseekers and even people
seen as "Non Germans". The completeness of debasement and control, which
tapers an everyday-situation of this persons within a (partly perilous)
hostile social surroundings, could be a parameter to elaborate with working
groups, discussions and workshops; proper measures for counter activity;
whether as decentralized actions or as a well directed and planned broad
campaign is to be considered. The meeting should not be just another
conference upon the well-known topics and problems: if everything is working
out well a proposal should be presented for a mean, powerful,
malignant and painful campaign against police terror, every-day-racism and a
racist sytem of exclusion as early as Saturday evening.
