We haven't added tv programmes as sources yet, and I could only really envisage us doing so if we had a physical copy of the programme in our collection (DVD, video etc), and I think the present source schema can deal with it ok. As for worrying about linking to what may or may not be in archives we are not even sure exist or where they are if they do - a low priority I would say (for individual HER's anyway) May be scope for a more strategic approach to this, but again am unsure how high a priority it would be. ANd I would imagine that like most media, this is essentially seen as disposable to a large degree by the producers (once they have got paid for the show, unless they can milk it a as cash cow elsewhere, storing it would simply be an unnecessary expense). I could be wrong though.
best wishes
