We use APTT here with a target ratio of x 2 over the normal control for
heparinised patients, (therapeutic range: 1.5 - 2.5.)

Dear All,
We have recently had enquires from our renal unit regarding the type of
POCT
testing they should be doing for monitoring heparinisation and I hoping
that
I can get some feedback from you all regarding what your units are
currently
using. The debate appears to be between ACT and APTT.
Regards
Tracy
