Dear All
One of our nephrologists wants to exclude Familial LCAT deficiency in a
patient with corneal opacities and ESRF of uncertain origin. Triglycerides
are slightly raised but total cholesterol and HDL are normal (so yes, I
know, LCAT deficiency already very rare, now extremely unlikely). But just
for completeness' sake I'd like to know, does anybody offer an assay for
serum LCAT?
